 Today we started editing our ad. I was the person who recorded the actors and filmed all the shots. I was the one who suggested we did "Apple" products for the Ad. I brought the majority of the materials such as; The Ipad, The Apple pencil, The apple watch and the AirPods. I sent all the shots and bloopers i filmed to Nyla for her to edit today. For the background music we chose was "Holding out for a hero" by Jim Steinman. It was fun editing the Ad since we had to chose some scenes i filmed to put in the video. One of the actors broke character and laughed which made me re film the scene which led to us having multiple bloopers. I had time to work on the ad at school during my second periods. I texted Nyla and Melvin about some details to add in the video in the group chat i made. This was a fun project to do. It was a fun experience filming and editing with nyla and melvin. I hope we get to work together again on a next project. The App that was used for editing the Ad was Imovie. You can find "imovie"on the Appstore. Next time we meet we are going to work on the editing again to make it perfect.

Finished Filming

After my group finished the filming scene of the group chat conversation we moved on to the next film. The scene after the text messages was where we all were supposed to meet up at the main character's house. While reviewing the script my groupmates decided to skip the introduction as they thought it could be unnecessary. The reasoning why the decision was that if the friends know each other why would they need an introduction. Because of this change and because of the fact that we were already running out of time we were discussing canceling the rest of the filming. We would still film on another day just pushed back. My group decided that we should try it today and just adapt to the script and that is what we ended up doing. Props: Since as a group we decided to work on an apple commercial, our main prop will be apple products. Other props we will include will be bags and school supplies. Costumes: In our commercial we will have 2 different costumes for each actor. The first costume will be a casual outfit, something that people would wear to school. The second costume will consist of athletic clothing. Something along the lines of a tank top or a cotton t-shirt and athletic shorts or athletic tights.
