Group blog - Final task

Doing this project as a team is a much better choice, compared to working alone. Since together we can really look through everything and make sure it's the best as it can possible be. The people i choose to work with are Withly, Melvin and Jennifer. I chose them because they are responsible and hardworking people. I was with them all throughout middle school.We were in the same class together that's how i know she works very hard in projects or assignments. Melvin and i were in the same team for 7th and 8th grade, he's very smart and very creative and he comes up with ideas very fast. I think me being a in group with both of them is going to be a fun learning experience. The thing that i'm looking forward the most is filming. Melvin and Withly are very funny and extroverted people, they are really fun to be around. I really like this class and having friends in the class makes it so much better. I am 100% sure we are going to get a good grade. We three have a group chat that we talk about the project a lot. In middle school melvin and i had to do a project and it was a very fun experience, we ended up getting a good grade on it. Im very glad that they are in my media studies class with me even though Withly is in another period. i'm Also very fortunate to be able to work on this project with them. I am sure that together we will create a brilliant product at the end of this project. I haven't seen Jennifer since 6th grade so i'm
not really sure how much she's changed but i think it will be fun to reunite with her again.

Finished Filming

After my group finished the filming scene of the group chat conversation we moved on to the next film. The scene after the text messages was where we all were supposed to meet up at the main character's house. While reviewing the script my groupmates decided to skip the introduction as they thought it could be unnecessary. The reasoning why the decision was that if the friends know each other why would they need an introduction. Because of this change and because of the fact that we were already running out of time we were discussing canceling the rest of the filming. We would still film on another day just pushed back. My group decided that we should try it today and just adapt to the script and that is what we ended up doing. Props: Since as a group we decided to work on an apple commercial, our main prop will be apple products. Other props we will include will be bags and school supplies. Costumes: In our commercial we will have 2 different costumes for each actor. The first costume will be a casual outfit, something that people would wear to school. The second costume will consist of athletic clothing. Something along the lines of a tank top or a cotton t-shirt and athletic shorts or athletic tights.
