Editing Blog

Now that we have the music portion of this project out of the way it's time to start the editing part of this film production. After discussing with my team members Jenni decided to take responsibility for the editing while we critique it and see what Shes able to add and or improve. First She told us she added all of the scenes we had filmed into the program put them all in order of how the storyboard was made. It actually took quite a bit of time to do this. She was planning out how She was going to cut down most of these clips. Because of how long some of the clips were they went way past the limit of the film and It was needed to come up with a creative way to actually cut it down. some scenes were cut that may have had unnecessary filler or deleted complete scenes in general because it felt like filler as the most fails in it. Some clips needed to be cut due to how long some of the clips were they went way past the limit of the film. Scenes that may have had unnecessary filler or deleted complete scenes were cut since they just weren’t necessary to keep the story moving. After some time jenni finally finished getting it under the two minute mark which took quite a while, which is surprising cause you'd think it'd be easier to produce a really short film but honestly it is far from it. My group mates and i expressed how they felt about the scene cutting and we all agreed that it looked well. So, this marks the end of the first day of the editing process. We are very excited to see what's in store and what ideas Jenni can come up with before finalize the film.
